COMMUNITY EVENTS & NOTICES

 

May 18: Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast – 9:30 to 11am

 (Registration begins at 8:45am, Program begins at 9:30am sharp)

Palm Springs Convention Center, 277 N. Avenida Caballeros.

Proceeds benefit Coachella Valley youth through GSA clubs and LGBTQI related programs.

Open to all – this event is for individuals, businesses, interfaith groups,
civic officials and nonprofit organizations. (more info & to order tickets)

 

May 20: Long Beach PFLAG Sponsored Brunch (before the Pride Parade) – 8:00am

Jean Hodges, PFLAG President will be guest of honor.

June 28: Stonewall Humanitarian Awards Gala 2018 – 7pm

Mary Pickford Theater, Cathedral City

Celebrating the 49th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and the right to equality,
this event is also an educational platform for those youth that need to learn
the importance of Stonewall. Special performance with an LGBTQ+ Palm Springs High School
Student violinists and the Internationally known, electro hip hop violinist SVET. Funds benefit the
Transgender Community Coalition to continue services for the LGBTQ+ Community.
